Sarah & Matt Wedding

My wonderful friend Sarah got married in September and she asked me to do all her decorating and flowers. It was such a blast. She had Coral & White as her colors and wanted a party reception. It was so fun to work with her and use fun different ideas I don't normally get to use with Traditional Utah Weddings. We used Lilies, Dahilas, Spider Mums, Stock, Astrics, Hypericum Berries, Lisianthus, Roses and Freesia as her flowers. We hung Pom poms above the pathway, and used them as centerpieces.

We hung flower balls above her cake! They were beautiful.

The happy couple jumped into the pool at the end of the night! They were so fun to work with and are the bestest friends a girl could ask for. Love you two.

A little furniture makeover.

My dear friend Sarah is getting married next week. (I am doing her flowers and will post them!) She had this old chest of drawers that we decided would be a really fun piece to have at the wedding for gifts. So we put some fun stripes on it and a little print on the edge.... & it is so adorable. Bright Coral&White color.

This is before... It was her grooms chest from when he was a baby. Such fun history!

Natalie&Spencer Judd Wedding

This Wedding was so beautiful. It was very different from others that we have done in the past. The bride wanted everything very thrown together. No structure or form, like we had gone out and picked them from a field and just threw them in vases. We choose a lot of wildflower type flowers. Ranaculous, wax flower, garden roses, astrix, bells of ireland, ladies mantel, lisianthus, delphinium, snap dragon, china mums, and many more.

The pictures are not fabulous I snapped a bunch of quick ones right before the wedding. This wedding is going to be featured in the Salt Lake/Park City Bride Magazine with great pictures. So look for it!

Sunshine Bedroom.

I've always wanted a very specific kind of bedroom. very bright and cheery. well I do wish to change a few things like my dark brown bed into an upholstered tan one but that will have to wait.
My bedding and window panels are from Pottery Barn, Nightstand is a redone pass me down, and well everything else is from Osmond Designs of course.

I wanted to brighten up my boring white bathroom so I painted my ceilings blue and had a peony mural put above the tub.

just a little bit of metal!

I didn't think anyone really paid attention to this silly blog but I keep getting people  talking to me about it so I decided I would update it a little.
Just a few fun ideas and adds i've done to my home.
My kitchen was in need of barstools and I really love the new industrial style so I decided to add a few touches here and there. I bought some raw metal screw top barstools and a sofa table with oversized metal legs. It still needs a lot of work, but it is a start in the right direction.

I need a good rug & another chair, and this room might actually be close to done. (We do want to add a fireplace to the left corner but that wont be until next year.)  :)
